The Flying Blind mission starts right after completing The Wingman (Part 1). Since you can’t continue your escape due to Jump Suppressors, you’ll need to deactivate them somehow. Fly over to the mission marker or continue moving until the Jump Suppressor signal at the top of the screen gets close to 100%. The higher the percentage, the closer you are to it. Once you reach it, destroy any hostiles nearby and then fly close to the suppressor to disable it. You’ll have to interact with it using F by default.

Now make your way to either of the two objective markers. You may run into some outlaw ships on the way, so be prepared for more combat. Plus, the suppressors have turrets and drones protecting them. Regardless of which objective you go to, move in close similar to the first one and disable it.

Once you’ve successfully deactivated all three Jump Suppressors, enter supralight travel/Jump Drive to escape the area. After a brief moment, Dax will give you a location called Rhodia II, to travel to. Find the location marker and use auto-pilot to get there quickly. Now that you’re in the Rhodia II area, travel to the Homebase marker to trigger a cutscene and complete the Flying Blind mission. This leads to the next Everspace 2 mission, From Scratch.
