What is Super Citizen Status in Helldivers 2?
All there is to know about the Super Citizen Status included in the special edition is that it gives you a fancy title. Alongside the other extra goodies, you’ll get a golden title that calls you a Super Citizen. This appears below your in-game username to other players.
While there are plenty of other titles you can unlock by leveling up your character, this one requires real money. So if you really want that title or want to further support the Helldivers 2 developer, you can spend $20 for the upgraded version. That’s the price at the time of publishing this article.
You can easily equip this title among many others by going to the Armory on your ship. Afterward, click into the Character tab where you can then click Title, and select the one you want. Here are some of the titles you can get without purchasing the special edition:
- Cadet
- Space Cadet
- Sergeant
- Master Sergeant
- Chief
- Space Chief Prime
- Death Captain
Fortunately, the special title for the Super Citizen Edition isn’t the only thing you get for your $20. If you’re curious about what else is included in it, here’s what you get:

- ‘Will of the People’ Cape.

Unlocking the Steeled Veterans Premium Warbond For Free
Before ending this short Helldivers 2 guide, it’s worth mentioning that you can still get the Steeled Veterans Premium Warbond without upgrading. If you don’t buy the upgraded edition, you can instead spend 1,000 of the in-game Super Credits currency on the premium warbond.
The free warbond/battle pass gives up to 750 Super Credits across its’ 10 pages. You can then get the remaining 250 for the premium battle pass by looting it in-game. You’ll typically find them behind doors that require two players to open or pods with a yellow beam above them.
That aside, the other popular benefit many players will be jealous of is the Stratagem Hero Ship Game. This is a minigame you can play on your ship or another player’s ship who has the Super Citizen Edition. They just need to be hosting for you to have access to it. The minigame has you run through stratagem arrow combos while a timer ticks down.
