The Walking Dead: Survivors is a mobile strategy game where you can team up with others against the ongoing zombie threat. However, sometimes you won’t always want to stay with the same clan for whatever reason.

And that’s why we’ve thrown together this short guide to show you how to leave a clan. It doesn’t matter why you’re leaving, just be prepared to move in case they plan to retaliate against you. Continue reading our guide below for The Walking Dead: Survivors.

How to Leave a Clan in The Walking Dead: Survivors

If you’re wondering how to leave a clan in The Walking Dead: Survivors, it’s relatively simple. You can either follow the image gallery below or continue reading for our in-detail steps. Before you leave, it’s worth making sure you have a new clan lined up to join.

Especially since they play a major role in this mobile game. You can still search for other clans while in one, by going to the “Settings” area on the clan home page. Then, tapping “Other Clans” to see a list and search bar.

First, go to the clan home page. This is where you’ll see the clan name at the top, an announcement, and a list of members.
Second, there’s a small “Settings” button near the top right that you can tap.
Afterward, tap the large “Exit Clan” button with a giant red X on it. A warning message will then appear making sure you want to leave the clan. It also warns you that any unopened clan gifts will disappear. And you’ll no longer receive clan help until joining a new one.
Tap confirm on this window to officially leave your clan.

  Once the rally is finished, you can likely leave your clan. While I haven’t been in this situation, I’m assuming that’s all it is.

I’ve had the leadership of a clan passed onto me which I didn’t want now when I try to leave it says I need to pass on the leadership to someone else or kick out the whole clan how can I do this thanks

How do I find the clan page to leave my current clan

  Hey Joe, if you haven’t figured it out yet, here’s what you need to do. When you’re at your town, tap the button at the bottom of your screen with two hands grabbing. This brings up the clan screen. Then, there’s a “Settings” button at the top right you can press below “Letters”. Afterward, all you need to do is press the “Exit Clan” button.

Hi all the clans that I am finding are in French Turkish German etc how do I find English ones as this makes it very difficult to understand what’s going on?

  Hey Gary, that’s a good question because I’m definitely in the same situation myself. While you can look for English clans specifically, you may end up with a clan that’s not as powerful as you’d like. In my opinion, the translation feature in TWD: Survivors isn’t too bad so that helps with understanding other languages.
  
  With that said, you can try asking for English clans in the global chat. Or perhaps checking the Clan Power rankings and cycling through them looking for English-speaking ones. And finding one around your power for joining. Since certain clans have minimum power requirements.

I am trying to exit a clan and it is telling me to delete all clan buildings I’m not sure what buildings are those and how to delete them. Help please.

  Hey Jess, this could be because you’re the clan leader, but I’m not positive. Each clan can build a Clan Base and Clan Outposts to mark their territory. This gives certain bonuses like extra resources over time. If you’re in a clan leader role, you may have to delete them before leaving. You could probably give someone else the clan leader role if this is the case.
  
  But as I haven’t had that happen before, I’m not entirely sure.

    Thank you for your reply Jeffrey. Yes I was the clan leader but I deleted all the other members before trying to delete the clan. Could you help with how to find and delete the clan base and clan outposts please? I have no clue.

      While I’m not positive, I have a theory after looking around in-game. Go to your clan screen, then Territory tab, and finally “Building”. This screen shows any buildings your clan has. After you’re here, tap a clan building such as a Clan Base and you’ll see it on the world map.
      
      Then, tap the “View” button on your Clan Base or Outpost. This will show a window that describes what that building is, as well as showing a little shovel icon. I think tapping that shovel icon may remove the building. But you’ll have to let me know as I’m not the leader of my clan.

        If you haven’t figured it out yet, here’s what you need to do. Click the “View” button and then a new window will appear. There’s a small shovel icon on this screen that you can tap to remove the building.

  Hey Joel, after doing some digging, it doesn’t seem there’s a way to delete your town/account. You can try getting in touch with Customer Service in-game. But that’s the only way I can think of.
  
  If that’s the route you want to go, you can get to Customer Service from your profile. First, tap your picture at the top left corner in-game. Then, tap Settings. And there will be a button for Customer Service. After tapping that, you can tap the “Contact Us” button at the top right. Otherwise, I’d just delete the app and forget about it.

How do you kick a leader after them not being active? I wouldn’t mind taking their place but they haven’t been active for days?

  Hey Morris, as far as I know, I don’t believe there’s a feature for kicking inactive leaders. With that said, you can try creating a new clan and having others follow you. But you won’t keep your territory and technology, sadly. Perhaps you could reach out to Customer Service and see if they can help you. Assuming the player has been inactive for a long enough time.

  I became leader of my clan a few days ago. I think it was automatic as there was no notification like there normally is when you are promoted.
  
  I think it was because the leader had been inactive for a few days AND I was stronger than him. He’s still in the clan although “probably a walker by now” so it wasn’t because he quit.

  Hey Jhayne, while I don’t have the game up right now, I have a feeling I know how it’ll work. There are two potential guesses I have. First, you’ll have to open the clan menu as shown in the article and then click on a member that you want to promote. This may open up a menu with an option to promote them.
  
  Otherwise, as mentioned in the article above, you can click the Settings button on the clan home page. Then, click “Clan Management” and there may be an option in there. Let me know if that helps at all. If not, I’ll see if I can verify it myself. But I’ve never been in that position to know for sure.
