Getting experience in every Wardogs class can quickly become grindy due to how much it slows down as you level up. If you’re looking for the fastest ways to level up, we’ve gathered information on how much experience you get for each action. We’ve also added some tips in each class section to help point you in the right direction!
I also wanted to note that I personally gathered the information in this guide, so I can confirm its accuracy. While it doesn’t include every single action yet due to that, I will continue updating each table as I learn more. Feel free to share your own info and tips in the comments below too!
How to Level Up Assault
The Assault class revolves around getting kills with relevant weapons, even though there are a couple of actions that contribute too. For example, being at a FOB when your team activates the Drill Rig will give you a meaty 500 experience. Otherwise, focus on using assault rifles, pistols, and grenades to take down enemies. One fun strategy is to toss grenades into an enemy FOB or crowded hot zone.

| FOB Hacked | 250 XP | |
| Kill Assist | 200 XP | |
| Vehicle Destroyed Assist | 125 – 75 XP | |
| Tower Captured | 100 XP | |
| Vehicle Destroyed | Confirming | The experience amount likely varies by vehicle type. However, the Assault class isn’t a common way to destroy vehicles. |
How to Level Up Medic
The Medic class revolves around healing, reviving, and using SMGs to level it up. Fortunately, it’s easy to passively level this class if you actively have a few meds on you at all times. As long as you’re taking the time to revive teammates and occasionally heal them, you’ll gain experience. Plus, it’s always worth bringing the free resuscitator, since someone may use it to revive you.
If you want to level the Medic quickly, though, you’ll definitely want to use an SMG with your medical loadout. And then grab the defibrillator once you have it unlocked.

| Shutdown Kill | 300 XP | |
| Revenge Kill | 300 XP | |

| Vehicle Destroyed | Confirming | The experience amount likely varies by vehicle type. However, the Medic class isn’t a common way to destroy vehicles. |
| Revived Player Assist | 50 – 25 XP |
How to Level Up Recon
The Recon class is one of the quicker ones to level up early on since you can get a decent chunk of experience from spotting enemies and vehicles. Aside from getting experience for spotting them, you’ll also get an assist for every time they’re killed or destroyed. This is a great way to help your team find enemies with markers that update in real-time. On top of that, you’ll also get assists even if an enemy kills your target. Otherwise, you’ll need to use a sniper rifle or marksman rifle to gain experience.
The first sniper rifle you’ll get is a bit tough to use due to its lower damage: the Scout Rifle TD. However, if you’re working with other players, you can likely pull some kill assists or kills on hurt enemies. Once you unlock the Mosin Nagant, your loadout cost will jump, but it’s much stronger for frequent one-hit headshot kills.
| Experience Source | Experience Rewarded | Notes |
| Longshot Kill | 350 XP | The lowest distance that I’ve gotten this kill at was 360 meters. |
| Shutdown Kill | 300 XP | |

| Kill | 250 XP | |
| Kill Assist | 200 XP | |

| Vehicle Destroyed | Confirming | The experience amount likely varies by vehicle type. However, the Recon class isn’t a common way to destroy vehicles. |
| Vehicle Destroyed Assist | 125 – 75 XP | |
| Spotted Vehicle Destroyed | 125 – 38 XP | The experience amount seems to vary based on the vehicle. In one case, a Lakota counted for 125 XP. |
| Target Spotted | 100 – 25 XP | |
| Spotted Item Destroyed | 75 XP | This example was for an enemy supply pallet. |
| Target Spotted Refreshed | 25 – 6 XP | The experience amount varies based on how long it’s been since the target was last spotted. |
How to Level Up Support
The Support class revolves around building, destroying vehicles, and using weapons like shotguns and LMGs. The two best ways to level up Support quickly are mortaring and supplying a FOB. First, destroying buildings at an enemy FOB with a mortar can give a lot of experience. On top of this, you’ll also get plenty from Artillery Kills specifically. Second, supplying a FOB with resources can give you FOB Supplied Assists that add up fast. I haven’t been able to confirm if the assists are tied to emplacement kills like the mortar, or building in general.
That aside, it’s worth mentioning that repairing FOB buildings doesn’t give experience. This may have been the case in a beta, but despite me seeing others say it online, it isn’t true. The only way to get repair experience is when repairing a vehicle.
| Experience Source | Experience Rewarded | Notes |
| Vehicle Destroyed | 500 XP – 75 XP | |
| Buildable Destroyed | 500 – 8 XP | The experience amount varies based on the buildable. For example, a Drill Rig gives 500 XP. |
| Building Complete | 450 – 1 XP | |
| Artillery Kill | 350 XP | |
| Shutdown Kill | 300 XP | |
| Revenge Kill | 300 XP | |

| Supplies Deposited | 180 – 5 XP | The experience amount varies between small bundles of supplies and pallets. |
| Vehicle Destroyed Assist | 125 – 75 XP | |
| Rotors Destroyed | 63 XP | This example was after using the 9K333 Verba launcher to destroy a Lakota’s rotors. |
| FOB Supplied Assist | 50 XP | |
| Refueled Vehicle | 15 XP | |
| Building | 10 – 1 XP | The experience amount varies based on whether or not you’re hitting yellow X marks. |
| Repaired Vehicle | 2 XP | |
| Supply Crate Item Sold | 1 XP |
How to Level Up Driver
The Driver class is a slow one to level up since it mainly revolves around transporting players to the Control Zone. With that said, you’ll need to do your best to get them to a safe spot so they survive. After a short amount of time, you’ll get a bonus for them staying alive. And over time, if they begin killing enemies, you’ll get an assist for each kill as well. This is why it benefits you to do a safe transport as opposed to driving them into a death trap. Aside from transporting players, you can also deliver crates and pallets to FOBs for experience.
I haven’t been able to confirm it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you get experience for kills with vehicles as well. Such as running over an enemy, using an MG42 on a Kodiak or Humvee, or even using a tank.
| Experience Source | Experience Rewarded | Notes |
| Spawn Vehicle Delivered | 500 XP | This is for driving the APC into the Control Zone. |
| Supplies Delivered | Confirming | The experience amount likely varies between crates and pallets. |
| Tactical Deployment | 250 – 25 XP | The experience amount varies between transporting someone to the Control Zone and spawning via an APC. |
| Passenger Survived | 200 – 75 XP | If the passengers you transport to the Control Zone survive after a short time, you’ll get this bonus. |
| Deployed Player Assist | 25 – 13 XP | |
| Roadkills | Unconfirmed |
How to Level Up Pilot
The Pilot class is a tough one to level, similar to the Driver class. This is because they both focus on transporting players or supplies to the control zone. You won’t have as many opportunities to get experience, but if you’re a strong pilot, you’ll be in and out fast. Once you have a Lakota unlocked, you’ll be able to transport more players or deliver pallets instead of crates. The best time to load up a Lakota is at the beginning of a match as long as there aren’t too many pilots already.
| Experience Source | Experience Rewarded | Notes |
| Kill | 250 XP | |
| Supplies Delivered | 500 – 200 XP | The experience amount varies between crates and pallets. |
| Passenger Survived | 100 XP | If the passengers you transport to the Control Zone survive after a short time, you’ll get this bonus. |
| Tactical Deployment | 50 XP | |
| Deployed Player Assist | 50 XP | |
| Vehicle Destroyed | Confirming | The experience amount likely varies by vehicle type. |
