Raw Fury is Removing Superfuse From Steam in October

The Steam Early Access game Superfuse has had an eventful year with the developer going through bankruptcy procedures, but we’ve finally gotten an answer from the publisher. The publisher Raw Fury is removing Superfuse from Steam on October 10. You can find the full statement below or in a Steam blog post for Superfuse.

“Hello Superfuse Community,

We understand that many of you have been waiting for news on the game for a while, so we wanted to provide an update here.

Unfortunately, Stitch Heads Entertainment, the studio behind the game, has ceased operations; and as a result, we will no longer be able to support the game’s servers, general stability or offer any patches and updates. After much consideration, and based on Steam’s guidelines and instructions, we’ll be removing the game from Steam as of October 10, 2025.

For those of you who already have the game in your library, you’ll be able to continue playing the game in the singleplayer offline mode, but the game will not be available for any new players to purchase. Although we will not be able to support the stability or any updates to that version of the game, we hope you will continue to enjoy it in its current state.

This is an unfortunate situation, and we wish we could have brought you better news for Superfuse and its future. We want to thank all of you who have been part of its community.

– Raw Fury”

This statement comes almost a month after the last bankruptcy report regarding Superfuse developer, NederBrew B.V., also known as Stitch Heads. According to Google Translate, which is bound to have flaws, the curator handling its bankruptcy didn’t have much new information to share. However, they did note that the IP rights for Superfuse have no value. In addition to this, there’s one part of the report that we’re not entirely sure of, due to legalese and a reliance on Google translations.

The curator made a request to propose the termination or dismissal of the bankruptcy due to a lack of assets. It’s tough to say if this is related to the company seeking to restart business, as we discussed in our previous coverage. However, it could be odd wording to say that the bankruptcy process is complete.

The last report from August also tells us that the curator is still disputing a pre-bankruptcy claim of €6,600,094.37. And there’s been a small increase of €210.61 in pre-bankruptcy claims as well. Going by the comment about a lack of assets, it may not be able to pay off these debts.

As we’ve explained in our previous reporting, if a company took over NederBrew B.V. as a restart, they wouldn’t be liable for those debts. This is why we were curious if the Stitch Heads board members would acquire NederBrew B.V. as part of a restart using their other business, Hexcode Holding B.V.

This is a screenshot of Kabounce, a game Stitch Heads released in 2018.

We’ve seen Hexcode Holding appear in the bankruptcy reports a few times for different settlements, purchasing of IP rights, and as the developer for an older Stitch Heads game, Kabounce. It’s difficult to say what the future of Superfuse is, beyond knowing that Raw Fury is no longer supporting it and that it won’t be on Steam anymore. We’ve reached out to Raw Fury to ask if they’ve tried to acquire the Superfuse IP rights. But, since they haven’t responded to any of our previous requests, we’re not expecting a response.

With all that said, the curator for the NederBrew B.V. bankruptcy has requested that the August report be their final one. However, they also stated that they plan to submit their next report on November 11, 2025, to propose their salary for handling the bankruptcy process. We don’t expect to get any new information regarding NederBrew B.V. in that report. But, if for some reason the report isn’t considered complete, we could get more. If anything changes, we’ll try to keep everyone updated with what we learn.
