The Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord War Sails quest, Sail to the Gulf of Charas, sends us off to chase a new enemy ravaging the seas. After successfully protecting the merchants in, Escort the Vlandian Merchants, Gunnar introduces us to a lord from the Aserai faction.

Speak With Gunnar at Ostican to Meet Lahar
Meeting with Gunnar back at the Ostican port introduces the Aserai lord, Lahar. In this conversation, we learn that someone by the name of Emira al Fahda is terrorizing the seas with the Sea Hounds. While this may seem unrelated to our ongoing search for our sister, Gunnar interrupts to let us know that it’s connected.
He notes that Fahda traffics captives with the Sea Hounds and, as such, may have had our sister at some point. However, even if she didn’t, he mentions that she may have more information regardless. Similar to previous War Sails quests, Lahar offers his troops and a swift Dromon ship to use. He also offers a reward for dealing with Fahda as well.
The fun part about this new ship is that it’s equipped with a ram. Now you’ll actually be able to destroy ships by ramming them or deal major damage to troops aboard those ships. Once you’re ready to sail out, tell Lahar that you’re ready or return to Gunnar at a later time. Upon setting sail, you’ll immediately get 2,000 Denars.
Sail to the Corsair Hunting Grounds
After leaving Ostican, your new objective sends you off to the Gulf of Charas. This can be a little confusing since it’s marked on the overworld map as the Corsair Hunting Grounds. Upon arriving there, you’ll get a window that mentions you’ve reached the gulf.
If you’re having trouble noticing the marker for this location, it’s up the coast a little out from the Vlandian town, Galend. While traveling to the Gulf of Charas, you may come across random Corsairs that aren’t part of the quest. Since there’s no reason to fight them, you can ignore them.
The ones we need to fight will be at the Corsair Hunting Grounds and have yellow exclamation points marking them. Once you get that window pointing out you’ve arrived, two ships will become visible. This moment completes the short quest of, Sail to the Gulf of Charas. And then moves straight into the next War Sails quest, Hunt Down Emira al Fahda.
