The Roblox game Dead Rails is getting a new update soon and we have a blurry image below teasing what it may be. The last update was for Easter back in April where they introduced the Eggstravaganza event. It’s unlikely this one will add a new mode or even class, but I wouldn’t say it’s impossible.
Dead Rails developer RiccoMiller shared the blurry image while saying the update will arrive on either Friday or Saturday. While we can only speculate, it certainly looks like a new wagon on the back of the train. This is a feature many players have asked for as some way to upgrade their train. What I’m curious about is how it will work. Is this going to be a microtransaction you have to spend Robux on? Is it something you can buy at a special building to completely change your train?
Considering each outpost has three empty buildings, the developer could definitely do something with one of them. All that aside, the other question is what will the new wagon actually do? Is it purely another way to defend your train from enemies? Or will it have new features like cabinets for storing loot?
One simple quality of life feature I’d love to see Dead Rails eventually get is a way to sell large batches of items quicker. I’ve stopped picking up low to medium value items because they’re not worth the time to sell and then pick up each money bag. I’m far from a speedrunner, but it’s still a pain to hold the button down every time to collect money. Or to drag 10 items from my Sack to the trader and run back to the train for more.
It would be interesting if they factored this in somehow and perhaps had a way to auto-sell items from the train. But, I think that would be pushing it so I’d settle for a simpler change instead. All I need is a setting to no longer have to hold a button to collect money. Or a way to sell all nearby items on the floor as well.
What do you think will be in this new Dead Rails update? Is it as simple as it looks and really just some sort of wagon upgrade? Hopefully I’m wrong about no new classes so we can update our tier list with some new ones to try!
